Willow Equine and Sole to Sole Connection hosts regular group events at our location, as well as annual fundraisers and a multitude of special events with the support of our partners throughout the year.  We also connect with our community via regularly schedule veteran meet ups and regional events.  See what we've got coming up!

Willow Equine & Soul to Soul Connection Events

Join us at our private farm for our monthly recurring events.  We offer a safe, non-judgmental space, and value the privacy of our patrons.  What happens at the farm, stays at the farm!

Animal Love
WOMEN'S NURTURING SERIES

Women's Group.  Held Mondays from 10:00-12:30 from June 29-July 27

Join us in creating a group that provides a safe space for women to support, laugh and cry with one another while healing together. You will learn how your past experiences impact your present and future experiences and how to move through their impact. Through the development of skills, education from research, and experiential work with other members, you will learn what nurturing yourself looks like without guilt. Cost is $425

Female Veterans Group.  Held 1st Friday of each month from 3:30pm-5pm

MARES: Magnificent, Alive, Rare, and Exceptional Souls

Talk with fellow female veterans, who have similar shared experiences, struggles, and challenges to both offer and receive support.

 May is Mental Health Awareness Month and we're excited to share that the Horses for Mental Health National Campaign will officially launch in tandem with the #SeenThroughHorses Campaign, and Soul to Sole Connection is honored to be part of this powerful movement.

Alongside 95 incredible nonprofits, we’re helping raise awareness, expand access to mental health services, and showcase the healing power of horses across the U.S., Canada, and Ireland. Grab your best pickleball partner, join us for a high-energy mixed doubles pickleball tournament focused on competitive play, community impact, and supporting meaningful causes.

  • Indoor Courts: 1–8 

  • Mixed Doubles (3.0–3.49 DUPR)

  • 48 Players (24 Teams / Set Partners for the Entire Event)

  • Round Robin Play

  • Eight Rounds of Match Play

Sip It Forward® is their super drinkable blonde ale and with each pint ordered in the taproom, you receive a token valued at $1.00! OR you can buy the tokens!

Place that token in one of the four containers on the Sip It Forward wall! At the end of the year the total amounts will be donated to the charities! You can donate even more by adding additional tokens to your tab!

Tee Off For A Veteran Annual Golf Tournament 2026

Tee Off For A Veteran annual golf tournament founded by Bryan Holliday is held the second weekend of each September at the Warrior Golf Club in China Grove, NC. 100% of charities received are donated to local Veteran-related organizations throughout the Lake Norman area, including Soul to Sole Connection!

Staying Connected with our Community

Soul to Sole Connection supports and engages in numerous veteran-centric events throughout the greater Lake Norman community, as well as across the NC piedmont region. 

 

Annually, you can find us at the May Memorial Ruck & 5K in Downtown Mooresville, the July Field of Flags Mooresville Exchange events at the Mooresville YMCA, the November “One Nation Under God” Veterans Lunch at Richards Coffee Shop, and the Mooresville Veterans Day Parade & Celebrations.  See our full community calendar below.

Regularly Scheduled Veteran Meet-Ups at Richard Childress Racing

Join us monthly for “Veterans Coffee at Richard Childress Racing” hosted by Veterans Bridge Home. (RCR Headquarters building 425 Industrial Dr., Welcome, NC).  The event offers free coffee for veterans, a special  presentation, and table displays.  All Veterans are invited to attend, 8am-12pm
